Connecticut has a number of other requirements for scuba divers and boats alike:
- Divers must display a dive flag that is no less that 13″x15″ at a height of no less than 20″
- Divers must use a stiffener to display their dive flag
- Flags used between dusk and dawn must display a reflective white diagonal stripe
- Divers are required to within 50 feet of dive flag when surfacing
- Boats and other vessels are required to stay at least 100 feet from a dive flag
