There are only a couple of regulations in place to govern diving and the operation of vessels near divers:
- Divers must use a dive flag that is at least 12″x12″
- Divers must stay within 50 feet of their dive flag when surfacing
- Divers must use the red and white Diver Down flag
- Vessel operators must stay at least 100 feet from any dive flags
