- Divers are required to use a blue and white Alpha flag when diving from a stationary (anchored) vessel
- Divers are advised to use a red and white Diver Down flag when diving solo, or from anything other than a vessel
- Boaters and vessel operators are advised to stay at least 300 feet from all dive flags
